- But does he have as much confidence in the Amiga as Manfred Schmitt did?
- Helmut Jost is now given the task of reorganizing the company and making
- up for any "supposed" mistakes that Manfred made in expanding the company
- too fast. He brings in totally new visions and if he sees some part of
- the company losing money, he is more inclined to axe it now then ever..
- Amiga Technologies is starting to lose money.
-
- He was the head of PC sales at IBM.. they haven't really been doing that
- good and even started shipping Windows 95 instead of OS/2 with their
- computers to try and boost sales. Maybe we could also think of it this
- way.. look what happened the last time the Amiga was associated with an
- ex IBM manager? IBM was also after Commodore and Amiga patents.. lets
- hope Helmut Jost doesn't want to earn quick bucks and suck up to IBM and
- decide to sell the Amiga and OS etc. to IBM.

-
- I agree.. maybe he was threatened by Bill Gates for buying the Amiga and
- planning on re-entering North America. :)
